My Ideal Job

Actually, I'm working in my country with a company ,that company works with informatics business, its a good job for me, because in this place i can develop my major, the things that I studied in the university, I had seen in the real practice in the work, and I had improved my skills; also occasionally we have the opportunity of get technical certifications when attend the exams, for this reason i have to study, so is good because I'm keep actualized.On the other hand, this work its a little unorganized, its usually have delay schedules for this reason its necessary work extra times at nights or at weekends;consequently, i feel stressed and tired in some moments. The Job is good and necessary, but the stress is very bad for my health, I know that in all jobs there are stress in most o less level, so there are stress. In addition For me is good now, so when I'll have my family and my child and have to work at late hours , no is good for me, moreover i win enough money, but i may win more. For this reason i want to get other job, and for me a ideal Job is the place when i can learn all days, have got to new efforts and challenge, and will be productivity, and fruitful for my major develop and for the company. For me, it will be ideal if could work half time at office , or more hours but, stay early at home. Take more free time and less stress. Also win the enough to live with the necessary, no is important luxurious,so have money to share with my parents and get money to trip a lot.

Parenthood

I'm feel good with the relationship with my parents, i have very respect and admiration for my parents, because they are worked very hard all their life for their sons. I feel that i had been a kind of compromise with they, to correspond there all things that my parents gift me, moreover I'm don't talking about material or physical things , I'm talking about all thighs that their taught me,for example they taught me how can i take my proper decisions,the correct behavior with other persons,how be responsible with my projects life. The effort and sacrifices of my parents had been are a force for me ,and I'm feel very proud for this. I'm feel very fortunate because i have this parents, they always support and help me when i have needed.

Actually, my father is my good friend is very well talk with him, he tell me a lot of advices, my mother always want the better for me, she is pendent of me, and all my brothers and sisters. She has present all the details, but mother and father influence in our lives but no produce interference in it.

Slangs

About slangs in my country also there are a lot of those. The people uses the slangs when want to make a references for normally things or want to make some comparatives of things that happened. In my country the slangs are popular and tradition 'phrases' than are conserved for a lot of generations. Some slangs have significant meanings like advices. Also i can view the slangs like a little metaphors of the life situations and in other cases are like funny expressions.
I know a little about the slangs or idioms in English because before i study a some about that, here i didn't have many contact with the slangs, a exception with the expression used for the teachers the speaking and listening in the class.
I think that in English the expressions are similar, there are some like has the same meaning, fro example: 'He who laugh last, laugh longest',but there are other than i can't understand, i can't made literal translate, because has other meaning.

English and Spanish Language Comparation

English and Spanish have many similar characteristics, first we have the same alphabet except for some characters, I’m find a lot of words with the same spelling than Spanish but the pronunciation of this words are always different, for this reason, I have a lot of mistakes in my pronunciation; on the other hand, there are words with the same spelling but different meaning.

When I ‘m writing, I find differences, because when I write in Spanish I use a lot of words and conjunctions, and articles not necessaries in English, the use of punctuation is to close than Spanish, but here I learned about the correct use of the punctuation in English related with the kind of sentences.

In Spanish I can write long ideas, but in English its important distinguishes very well the simple sentences, also the order in use of subject, verbs, nouns, and adjectives are different in the use of the sentences structures.

Colombian's Attitudes

The attitudes there are like the presentation of the people. Maybe the things the other people can see about you , and for this reason are you falt good or are you falt bad a other person.On other way when you want something in special you should change your attitudes. The attitudes should indicate behavior of the people of the same region geographic; for example, in my country Colombia, there are five main regions and the attitudes of the person in each region is different than each other.

For example in the north of Colombia Atlantic region the people are very funny, talkative and cordiality, while in some cities of the Andine region the people is most quiet, but very well in theirs jobs. In the pacific region the people there are very hospitality and friendly. The geographic ,location influence in the attitudes of the person, but other aspects also influence, like age, education, and social class. For example the Older people is most polite than younger people , a person without education and low social class maybe can be aggressive.
Well, \it was only ones examples, because the attitudes was influenced for a lot of factors.

My Source Of Strengh

Until the moment when I decided begin this project I have been the support of my family, who incentive me and help me to much, for this reason my family is very important for me, always had been, but in this specific project my source of Strength is the hope to get better opportunities in my country, I’m very fortunate because I have a job in my country and I have been the opportunity to develop my major, consequently I want to take advantage of this opportunity and improve my English is important to obtain this, on other hand, I have an agreement value to have been the opportunity to learn English in a foreign country because I will have new vision of the world a can know other cultures there are many things that made part of my spiritual growing.

Life As An ELI Student

When I arrived to UA, I came with many expectations about the experience to live again the student life, because I had finished the university since 4 years ago. On other hand this experience is in other country, in USA, the life style is very different than my country, I have found many differences between both, for example, first in my country not exist any university so big than UA, here the students live around the UA. Other thing is the transportation system; here some places are so far like the Health center and the Recreation Center. Is good for me have to walk, but when you are in classes you don’t have time to move the far places. Therefore I walk to the Publix with my friends to buy the things and walk from Rose Towers at Comer Hall and is fine because a like the warmer weather. In My country I travel to all places in Public transport, but here doesnt found it. The other difference is the kind of food here the feed and the manner to cook is different, also I look that the students has a lot of resources for the learning process here.

My experience here has been good because I have known new persons the other countries other cultures and I have known about the American culture, and is very interesting and enriching me, finally about my skills in English I need to stay much attended all time to understand the environment and it is good for my mind.
